Patios can look great at first but due to the porous nature of most paving slabs it's generally not long before algae and weeds form on the surface or between the joints of the slabs. Patio joints are filled with sand and cement and these joints can become brittle over time as weeds and grass push their way through. During the cleaning process any weak or inferior joints may become dislodged. Anglia Surface Care can repair these joints using a sand and cement mortar but no guarantee can be given regarding the life span or suitability.

Anglia Surface Care recommends the use of Resin based pavement jointing mortars. We can provide jointing mortars in several colours to complement any type and shade of paving. These mortars are suitable for many types of paving including concrete, natural stone and slate. Resin jointing mortar is a single-component mortar, relatively non-porous and a barrier to unwanted weeds and plants.
